For the purposes of the RP, in order to keep things simple, there are only 3 alignments: Dark, Light, and Neutral.

Dark/Evil
Characters that fall under the category of Dark are aligned with the Dark side of the Force. These characters include Sith and other evil beings in tune with the Dark Side. Though this alignment does lend itself to the Sith and their allies, a character's whose intent is the destruction of lives and creation of chaos would also fall under this category. For example, a Sith Lord is an automatic Dark aligned character, but so is a murderer or cult leader.

Light/Good
Characters considered to be Light or Good Side characters tend to be Jedi, but are not limited to member of the order. Characters with strong attachments to the Light Side of the Force fall under this category. Though this alignment lends itself to the Jedi, it also includes characters whose goals include the aid of others with no concern for one's self or trying to move the galaxy to a new age of peace. For example, a Jedi would automatically be considered a Light Side character, but a peace warrior or a charity volunteer would also fall under the Light category.

Neutral
Characters in the neutral alignment don't really care for either the ways of light or dark. They aren't fighting for a purpose, they're simply fighting. Their motives may be purely selfish or maybe they just do whatever for no reason. Bounty Hunters, Slavers, Assassins, and Mercenaries all fall under this category as do any persons whose goals are not entirely clear or who do thing typical of a light or dark aligned character for their own reasons.

It is important to note that as the campaign moves forward, character alignment can change if necessary and sensical. A Jedi may fall to the Dark Side, a Sith may join the Jedi academy, or a Bounty Hunter may be recruited by the Jedi or Sith. Additionally, if a character belongs to an alignment, but is pretending to be another alignment, list the alignment the character is pretending to be until their true nature is revealed during the campaign. Also don't mention that the character will change when going into detail on the character's personality and backstory on the character post. You may allude to it, but try to keep the change a secret until it happens. Characters of varying alignments may also be added and removed/killed at any point during the campaign.
