Rule #1 There are no rules.
The point of doing this RP on a forum this way is that we don't limit ourselves to the rules of normal Tabletop RPGs. We're essentially just telling a cooperative story so the first rule is you can do *almost* anything you want. Have fun, explore the limits of the universe the RP is set in, and most importantly tell the story of your characters.

Rule #2 Posts should be on a regular basis but are not enforced (usually)
There's nothing more annoying than a character that doesn't respond for days. Alternately, there's nothing worse than not posting for a long time and coming back and having to read page after page of new posts. It's recommended that posts should be regular for the most part. Obviously, if one of your characters is not present during a scene there is no reason to post, but you should still keep up with what is happening. If you're character is part of a scene and is directly addressed by another, they should respond in a timely matter that doesn't leave players waiting for your next move. Again, none of this is actually enforced in any way, it just serves to help keep the game moving and interesting.

Rule #3 Killing Characters
As I'm sure you've noticed, all of the characters in the campaign, even the evil ones, are controlled by players. Obviously there will be conflict and many of these conflicts will end in the deaths of characters. Fights can be as detail or as simple as you want. In order to successfully kill another players character, you must first get permission from the player. If a player has future plans for a character that will serve the story they may choose to have their characters survive the conflict, but if both parties agree that the death of the character will serve a greater purpose a death can be proposed. Once a death has been proposed, the killing player describes how their opponent is killed. If two players cannot agree on whether or not to kill off a character, the character in question will survive the encounter to have the matter settled at a later date. It is also important to note that THERE WILL BE DEATHS. Don't feel too attached to any of your characters and don't get upset if one of them dies. Also, don't try to get away with never letting your characters die. You can make as many as you want and you can even introduce new ones during the campaign provided you have a sensical way to bring them in. Be willing to hear why the other person want to kill the character. If their reason isn't enough for you, you can say no, but if it makes sense and their character is significantly more powerful and there's little to no conceivable way to get your character out of the mess, let it go. It should also be noted that player may request their characters be killed off as well. In that case anyone may take up the offer and accept the request to kill off the other player's character. If one player's character kills another character controlled by that same player, the player simply make sthe decision himself and describes how it goes down and the consequences that follow, etc. etc.

Rule #4 Maiming and Injuring
Unlike killing, maiming an injuring another player's character does not require special permission from the player. Simple scrapes or blaster wounds that don't cause serious damage can and will occur during combat and should be expected. However, if you intend to injure a character to the extent of severing a limb, you may want to discuss this with the player first, though it is not absolutely required. Basically, as long as the character doesn't die you can hurt them however you want. In the Star Wars Universe, severing an arm or a leg is easily fixed with robotics and limb replacement surgeries. In the case of Kingdom Hearts we may want to steer away from actually severing body parts, although Cure spells may in certain cases be able to fix it. Essentially, you can cut of character's body parts and wound them in any way you see fit, but serious damage should at least be discussed.

Rule #5 Transition
If a scene has come to a satisfying end and someone has another scene they wish to begin, the appropriate thing to do is use some variation of "Meanwhile on/in/at (location)" in order to transition to the next scene. This can be done at any time, but preferably at a point where the transition is seamless and makes sense.
